Terms and conditions for using the Wild Spa
Age requirement – Children under the age of 4 years are not allowed in the spa. Children under the age of 12 years are not allowed in the sauna. Children under the age of 16 years must be supervised by an adult (of over 21 years).
Arrival time – To ensure that you receive the full benefits of the spa, please ensure that you arrive on time. In the event of turning up late we will only be able to offer the remaining spa time. This will still be charged at full price.
Attire – Please bring your swimwear, towel/robe & suitable footwear. Robes slippers and towels are available for hire at the cost of £8 per guest.
Alcoholic beverages – Only alcohol provided by Scolton Country Spa can be consumed on the premises. Alcoholic beverages should be consumed in designated areas only. We reserve the right to refuse to serve anybody that is considered intoxicated. One glass of champagne or wine can enhance the hot tub experience – any more than this is not advised. The increased heat rate will speed up the effect of alcohol & may cause dizziness. A charge will be made to anyone found consuming their own alcohol while in the spa.
Cancellations policy – Full payment is required upon booking both the spa. We require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid a 100% charge. Failure to arrive will also result in a 100% charge.
Etiquette – We want all of our spa guests to enjoy their time with us, and our spa environment is a relaxed and informal one. But we do ask that all spa guests respect others. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all spa areas. Mobile telephones and electronic devices should be set to silent at all times. It may be politely brought to you attention if we believe other spa guests are being disturbed. Any abusive behaviour towards the staff of The Wild Spa will not be tolerated & you will be asked to leave. In this instant your entry fee will not be refunded.
Food – Only food purchased on the premises can be consumed at Scolton Wild Spa. Food and beverages should be consumed in designated areas only. A charge will be made to anyone found consuming their own food while in the spa.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding mums – Please advise us if you think you may be pregnant or are undergoing any fertility treatment. We advise pregnant women to avoid all heated spa facilities. Please speak to a member of our team if you have any questions or queries.
Medical conditions – If you are suffering from any of the following you must not use the spa: skin, ear, genital or other body infections, heart disease, diabetes, migraines, stomach upset or sickness within the last 14 days, heart or respiratory problems, chest pains or any other serious illness. Please leave the hot tub or sauna straight away if you experience nausea, dizziness, faintness, rapid pulse, irregular heartbeat, stomach or chest pains, or tingling in the hands or feet.
Smoking – Smoking is strictly prohibited in all spa areas. Anybody who is found smoking will be asked to leave immediately.
Spa property – All items in the spa remain the property of Scolton Country Spa. We reserve the right to charge guests after departure for items removed during their visit – for example, robes, towels, items in treatment rooms and around the property. Our fire pit and indoor fire must only be operated by staff. The Wild Spa accepts no responsibility for injury or loss caused by misuse of the spa’s facilities.
Valuables – We cannot accept responsibility for the safety of your personal belongings (including money and valuables) during you time with us. If you do bring these items with you we strongly recommend that they are covered by your own insurance policy.
Vouchers – Vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable and valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
